Greenoak Secondary was established in September 2008. Its pioneer students, ten in number, commenced their studies with a teaching team of seven specialist teachers. It runs a co-educational school system. It does have plans to incorporate boarding facilities into the permanent site. Greenoak International School (GIS) Port Harcourt is an International Primary School. Although only recently founded, GIS has a population of 180 highly motivated students. Greenoak admits children ages 5 years to 16 years from various corners of the globe. The school operates a hybrid curriculum, consisting of the innovative International Primary Curriculum (IPC), British/American Curricula and the Nigerian curriculum. This provides a balanced education aimed at producing truly intelligent, skillful, motivated, confident and morally sound children. |
